Fall has officially hit Portland which means that the rain is coming too. I have to say I’m a bit excited because I really love rainy days and puddle stomp walks. I love seeing the changing leaves floating in pools of water and I love to stay home and curl up on the couch with the kids and watch a movie.
Since moving to the PNW we have swapped our snowsuits and snow boots for rain gear and since we wear our rain gear for 8 months out of the year we tend to like to have a bit of fun and variety. I also love having heavier raincoats for colder days but nice light coats or in the case ponchos that can be layered or worn on a warmer Fall or Spring day. I also love these ponchos because they fold up into themselves and easily fit in our day pack.
I have to admit that these photos are little old and that Edith has sadly grown out of her boots but it’s perfect timing because Alder just grew into them. Now I am debating do I get her the cats, the stripes or the bugs? Too many good choices.
