This past weekend we spent Sunday morning soaking up the sun with friends at the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival. This festival has been on our ‘to do’ list but the past two years we just haven’t made it down but finally we were able to this year and it was beautiful.
The tots had a great time running through the rows of tulips bending down to give them a sniff along with jumping in mud puddles and running their hands through the dirt. Everyone got in on the [rubber] duck races and of course who doesn’t love to try on giant wooden shoes? We ended the festival with a picnic lunch and some swing set time for the tots.
