For 11 months and 1 week Edith had little to know interest in stuffed animals or dolls. She actually doesn’t really have that many either just a little stuffed doll from our cousins, a stuffed broccoli from Ikea, my old Care Bear and an old TY cat of mine. Well all of a sudden she fell in love with the TY cat who we now call kitty. She is obsessed with it. Kitty comes most everywhere with us. She gives it hugs and kisses. When she is sad she brightens up, gives kitty a hug and calms right now. When she sees kitty she “ohh” and points and reaches for her. When you ask where kitty is she points, crawls and gets her. I am amazed every time.
She now not only loves kitty but she has really taken to most stuffed animals, although she is particular. Last night we were at Ikea where she hung out with some bears, fell in love with a hare and a dog and completely rejected the poor mama and baby fox. 
For months Neil and I were talking about how Edith hadn’t taken a lovey. We had never really tried to entice her to take one either and all on her own she found one. Now kitty is officially a part of the family and even gets to ride in the Ergo.
